Our Mission
Our Mission is to promote an educational and cultural environment for children in our community. To promote our Mexican culture through dance and endorse a positive atmosphere as example for our community.
Our History
Ballet Folklórico Xochitl is a Nonprofit Organization founded by Mario Galindo in 2000 and is currently under creative direction of Mr. Galindo’s daughter Cindy Galindo. We are located in the Little Village community, in Chicago, IL.
Mario Galindo has always been passionate about this beautiful art, and driven by his own experience as a former member of the Ballet Folklórico de Amalia Hernandez in Mexico City.
Our members range from 7 to 30 years of age, making it a unique combination of members.
